  1. What do I need to do to rent an apartment at Legacy Park Apartments?
    We request that you fill out the rental application and include a holding deposit that will be allocated to your security deposit at move in. We will provide you a copy of our screening criteria as well.
  1. How much is the holding fee and security deposit?
    The holding fee is $500 and the security deposit starts at $500. Higher deposits may be required based on screening.  Please ask a Leasing Associate for details.
  1. How much is parking?
    Parking is included in the cost of rent.
  1. Am I permitted to have more than one car?
    At this time, we are allowing one car for a one bedroom apartment and a maximum of two cars for a two bedroom apartment. This will be subject to change based on availability.
  1. Am I allowed to have pets?
    Yes, we accept cats and dogs.  There is a two pet maximum per household.    Aggressive breeds (and any combination of aggressive breeds) as well as exotic pets are not allowed. Please ask a leasing associate for a detailed list.
  1. Are there any deposits, special fees, or monthly charges to have a pet?
    No, there are no deposits for pets, however, we charge a monthly pet rent of $25/per cat, $50/per dog.
  1. What must I bring with me to tour an apartment?
    Any person touring an apartment home with us must present a valid government issued ID.
  1. What are the income and credit qualifications?
    We run a credit and criminal background check and we require a gross income of three times the rent. Proof of income must be provided during the application process.
  1. What is considered acceptable proof of income to sign a lease?
    Acceptable forms of income verification include: two consecutive paycheck stubs or a W2 form from an employer or an offer letter on original letterhead. Other verifiable income may mean, but is not limited to, alimony/child support, trust accounts, social security, unemployment, welfare, grants/loans. Please request a copy of our screening criteria for further details.
  1. What happens if I qualify for an apartment, but my roommate does not?
    Then the roommate’s application will be denied and he/she will not be able to move in.  Your application can still be approved as long as you qualify on your own.
  1. Is my security deposit totally refundable?
    Yes, the security deposit is refundable upon move out as long as you do not have an outstanding balance and there are no damages in your apartment at the time of move out.
  1. If I get a job transfer, can I break the lease?
    Yes, however, penalty fees will apply.
  1. Can I change to a month-to-month lease plan after my first year?
    Yes, you will receive a renewal offer approximately 3 months prior to the expiration of your lease that will outline the renewal terms.
  1. What utilities are included in my lease?
    Residents are responsible for all of their own utilities. All units are individually sub-metered.
  1. How long is the term of the lease?
    The initial lease term is 12 months.  Lease terms may vary.
  1. Do you accept leases for short terms?
    We will offer lease terms varying from 7-12 month leases as well.  However, the terms offered will vary throughout the year and will be contingent on management approval.
  1. Am I required to have renters insurance?
    Yes, proof of renter’s insurance will be required prior to move in.
  1. Do you offer furnished or corporate apartments?
    No
  1. If something needs to be repaired in my apartment, how do I report it?
    Simply contact the office via phone or visit.
  1. When is my rent payment due?
    Rent is due on the 1st day of each month.
  1. What day of the month am I liable for a late charge?
    Rent is considered late after the 2nd day of each month. Late fees apply.
  1. Will you accept electronic payments from my bank?
    No
  1. Is there a place where I can pay my rent after office hours?
    Yes, you can drop your rent check in the after hours drop box in the leasing lobby.
  1. Who is the phone and cable provider?
    Comcast or Verizon will provide fiber services to the property.
  1. Does the property offer on-site recycling?
    No
  1. Are gas grills permitted at your property?
    No, grills are allowed on the property as per state fire code.
  1. Is there any additional storage space available at your property?
    Yes, please ask a leasing associate about availability and cost.
  1. Are residents permitted to paint their apartment?
    No
  1. Will you accept my delivery packages for me?
    Yes, we will be happy to accept all packages (some size restrictions may apply) in our leasing office.
